Every show is themed around Christmas, and you won’t want to miss out on the singing, dancing, and comedy. Every night, there is a parade that goes through Main Street, and your kids will be able to see Santa and his friends. There’s also a Santa meet-and-greet in the park during this time of year.
If you are planning a Christmas trip to the Smokies then you definitely need to take advantage of some of the great seasonal events and specials. One treat you don’t want to leave Pigeon Forge without experiencing is the Christmas Titanic with real snow! Every Saturday in December, it will snow – REAL snow – off the bow of the Titanic. The museum will be honoring the lives of the 2,208 people who died in the sinking with their exhibit “Christmas is a Winter Wonderland.” Don’t come just for the snow! The whole museum inside and out will be lit up with thousands of lights.
Every year, Pigeon Forge and the surrounding cities take part in Winterfest, which is a months-long event where you can drive around and see incredible themed lights. This takes place at the base of the Space Needle located at the intersection of Parkway and Historic Nature Trail.
